We are a Bryn Mawr a cappella group just looking to spread the love of music! As the most ethnically diverse acapella group on campus, it is also our goal to advocate for diversity and solidarity across all cultures and backgrounds through the universal love for music. Our organization mainly rehearses different songs to be performed at several concerts throughout the year, some of which are joint concerts with other acapella groups.

Afreen is a bi-co South Asian fusion dance team. We meet weekly to learn forms such as Bhangra, Bollywood, and Garba! We proudly take part in multiple performances across the tri-co and Philly!
AJOYO*

AJOYO is an African Diaspora dance team that offers a volunteering team and performance group. We offer this option because AJOYO prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. AJOYO focuses on embracing and sharing African Diaspora culture and dancing through both modern and traditional movement. The purpose AJOYO serves is to depict an authentic culture that is often appropriated throughout the BMC community and beyond. We serve to give back to the community and work towards making a change against social injustices in the Philadelphia area. This is often achieved either via dance or volunteer work.
Bi-Co Chords of Glory*

Performance with a purpose! Bi-Co Chords of Glory works to bring our performances to those who don't often get to experience live music, such as residents of nursing homes, homeless shelters, hospitals, and more. We welcome singers of all experience to join us in bringing joy and music to the greater Bryn Mawr and Haverford communities!

Bounce Dance Club*

Bounce is a Bi-Co inclusive and supportive dance community that focuses on hip-hop and fusion styles. We perform at showcases every semester, hold campus-wide dance workshops, and provide opportunities for students to choreograph and learn to dance. We are also committed to educating ourselves about hip-hop history, as we benefit from the work and creativity of Black and Brown artists who formed the styles we use. We encourage one another to grow through dance, and most of all, have fun with each other.
Bryn Mawr College Night Owls

We are the official a cappella group of Bryn Mawr! We sing a wide variety of songs from classical to pop. Auditions are held for all members of the Bryn Mawr community. We perform for a variety of audiences including alumni, prospective students, faculty, and the larger Bryn Mawr community, as well as with other colleges along the East Coast. We can't wait to sing with you!

Kala is an Indian Classical Dance group that performs on Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore's campuses. This is a space for any kind of dancer, from people just starting out in their dance journey to those who grew up classically trained. We welcome anyone who is looking to learn about a new art form and a new culture to join.

We are a SATB group consisting of Bryn Mawr students, faculty, and community members dedicated to singing pieces from the Renaissance. We perform in the Great Hall once a semester and on May Day.

Choom Boom is a Bi-Co Kpop club that does not require auditions, but just your energy and support! We hold weekly teachings of various Kpop songs and community de-stressors within the year on Fridays at Bryn Mawr. Also, there will be opportunities to perform at Bryn Mawr and Bi-Co showcases!

We are the Extreme Keys -- Bryn Mawr's oldest a cappella group! We sing all kinds of songs, but mostly stick to contemporary pieces that we choose as a group! We support anyone from the Bryn Mawr community to audition for our group!

We founded HaverRitmo, our beloved Bi-Co dance team, in 2021. We showcase styles of hip hop dance under the Latin and African diaspora, however, all genres of dance are welcomed, valued, and appreciated on our team.

MEI Chinese Dance Club*

Founded in 2018, Mei is a Bi-Co Chinese dance group dedicated to practicing classical Chinese dance, Chinese folk dance, and Chinese pop dance. Mei performs at showcases every semester—ranging from campus dance concerts to cultural celebrations including PARC’s annual Lunar New Year Banquet. We are committed to enriching the Bi-Co community by sharing Chinese culture through traditional and modern dance performances, holding workshops and weekly practices, and actively collaborating with other dance and affinity groups. No experience is required to join; we welcome dancers of all backgrounds!
Melanines A Capella*

Melanines is a student of color-centered acapella ensemble bringing a casual environment to sing contemporary music made by musicians of color to our campuses. Founded by Raveen Green and Vic Brown in 2019, we set out to create a space to enjoy good music and company through our practices and social events to foster community within the club and the larger BIPOC communities on our campuses.

Noise Complaint is Bryn Mawr and Haverford's only tap company! Founded in Spring 2022, we are a no-audition dance group focused on bringing different styles of tap dance to the bi-co. Our company classes are open to all members of the bi-co community with any tap experience level. So if you've never tapped before but want to learn, we'll teach you! If you've been tapping your whole life and want to continue to your percussive dance training, come make noise with us! You can catch our performances at the Fall Student Dance Concert and a showcase we co-host in the spring.

Rhythm N Motion Dance Company

RnM was born from the response of several individuals who wanted to express themselves and create a community through the dance styles of the African Diaspora, but found no appropriate outlet through Swarthmore's curriculum. The group has now evolved into a Tri-College performance-based group. The styles of the African Diaspora now serve the group as an influential place mark in our history that we adhere to through the combination of current member’s diverse strengths with the styles of our founding.

Rince na Mawr is a dance group focused on providing Irish dance opportunities to the bi-co community. If you are new to Irish dance, we offer beginner classes and no-experience required group ceili events. If you have Irish dance experience, we meet weekly to choreograph steps and practice for student showcases throughout the year.
Shakespeare Performance Troupe

Shakespeare Performance Troupe is a student theater group dedicated to performing theatrical works both in and out of the Shakespearean canon. We aim to carry forward dynamics of subversion we find throughout Shakespeare and other theatrical works, while critically engaging with an often complex canon. In doing this work, we work to address the racist past of SPT and Shakespearean theatre to create a more inclusive framework for the future. We perform at least one play each semester, and all productions are entirely student-run.
Shift Dance Company*

Shift’s goal is to provide a space for advanced dancers within the bi-co to train, choreograph, and perform. Shift was established with the intention of building a strong community of advanced dancers who wish to continue their training in college, and we strive to build a close-knit company that allows us to grow in our dancing and have the opportunity to share our pieces with the bi-co community. The company is designed to offer an intense level of dance training, focused on, but not limited to, contemporary dance. Shift thrives from group participation, communication, and dedication, and relies on all dancers being involved, accountable, and willing to both learn from and teach one another.
The Barre Owls

The mission of The Barre Owls is to create a safe and inclusive environment for dancers to explore their ballet technique and artistry. Our goal is to support our dancers through a once a week class taught by club members and once a week rehearsal taught by a club member in which the dance will be performed at the end of the semester. Everything in the Barre Owls is voluntary. If a dancer is not able or chooses not to be involved in class or rehearsal it does not hurt their future ability to participate in the club. Every member of Barre Owls should treat and be treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
